There is nothing quite like a real-life case study that showcases a true transformation. Well, that is exactly what we are sharing with you in this article today! The team here at Initforthe is going to take you through the time we helped Hardsoft streamline their sales seamlessly, all thanks to our bespoke software services. Hardsoft’s previous lease management system was ancient and was reaching the end of its life. That is when they gave us a call for a true Initforthe makeover. Keep on reading to find out how we transformed the way Hardsoft operated.

Who is Hardsoft Computers?

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let’s talk about who Hardsoft is first. Hardsoft Computers is a computer leasing company that, you guessed it, leases computers. They focus heavily on relationships, equally with their staff, clients, and suppliers. Over the years, they have swiftly become the UK’s #1 computer leasing company.

It’s Out with the Old and In with the New:

Hardsoft came to us to replace their old lease management system, which was extremely outdated. They had multiple improvements they wished to make and were hit with quite a few problems after the original developers were bought out several times. This meant the lease management system was no longer viable for them to continue to use, and they were faced with a couple questions, such as what to do next and what to do with the existing data.

After we spent time understanding who Hardsoft is and what they do, we were able to concoct a plan together. Then came a whole new platform, which made every aspect of Hardsoft’s work so much simpler. Hardsoft now has one single place where their lease and order information lives, and it also automates communication between all departments as the orders progress. Thanks to our services, we are able to help Hardsoft achieve all its growth goals for the future.

Four interruptions, two lost hours and the process your people shouldn’t be driving

Four interruptions can wipe nearly two hours from the useful part of a working day, and that’s before you count the interruption itself. Add long manual processes, routine human error, rework and stress, and you get a working environment where good people spend too much time recovering, correcting and chasing.

The answer isn’t to tell people to focus harder. It’s to design a better system, one that drives the process, preserves context, moves routine work automatically and only interrupts people when their judgement is genuinely needed.

The approval takes five minutes. The waiting costs far more.

The approval takes five minutes. The waiting costs far more.

A five-minute approval can leave work waiting for days. Once a quote, purchase, job or invoice misses its slot, the delay spreads into the rest of the process.

People switch tasks, schedules move, customers wait and cash arrives later. The decision itself may be quick, but the queue around it can cost far more than anyone realises.

You probably don’t need a CRM; you need the work to flow properly.

You probably don’t need a CRM; you need the work to flow properly.

Most growing businesses think they need a CRM, but the real problem usually sits between departments.

When sales, operations and finance all rely on different systems, spreadsheets and good people end up holding the process together by hand.
